Gallery Wrap Canvas Unboxing

Y'all I can't even tell you how much I hate being in front a video camera. So awkward! I'd much rather be behind the camera. Here goes nothing! Haha!

Thought I would share my most recent gallery wrap canvas order. Just so pretty in person! The camera just doesn't show all the detail unless you see it in person.

Watch as Kim unboxes a gallery wrap canvas order from our professional fulfillment lab. 75 to 100 year archival rating with "Archival standards certification." Sizes shown in this video are 8x10, 10x10, and 16x20. Depths of .75" and 1.5" For more information about gallery wrap canvas prints, contact Kim at https://kimboggusphotography.com/cont... Baby S One Year Cake Smash Celebration

It's Baby S One Year Cake Smash Celebration!

When mom called my to schedule her one year birthday session, I was beyond thrilled because I photographed her as a newborn baby and was so excited to see how much she had grown. Such a beautiful baby girl! It is such an honor to get to watch my clients grow up before the eyes of my camera.

Normally, I photograph babies this age in the studio during morning hours since the late afternoon/evening is what I call the "witching hour" for little ones. They just get tired and cranky at the end of the day. Though, Covid-19 has caused some constraints, we moved the session outdoors in a well ventilated area so that we could abide by safety regulations. Baby S did amazing but did tire out toward the end.

I'm so happy that we were able to find a workaround to having this special milestone photographed and that we weren't held back by limitations. This session was photographed during my absolute favorite time of day,....goldenhour!

The timing of this session couldn't have been more perfect as we scheduled a couple of days after Hurricane Hanna hit the McAllen area but right before the arrival of our Texas sized mosquitoes. Those things could carry off a small child. :)

Mom and dad were so helpful in getting her attention. They all sang her favorite nursery rhymes together.

Be a mermaid in a sea full of fish and never forget to always dream higher than the sky and as deep as the ocean.

Mermaid Cousins!

July 16, 2020 • 1 Comment

What a special memory these cute cousins will have to look back on from this mermaid session. They don't see each other often enough during the year but every summer they gather at South Padre Island for fun in the sun, sand and beach. This is usually when all of the families are able to get together, and for the cousins, it's like they haven't missed a beat. They just have so much fun together bonding. All of them are at that magical time in their lives where dreams are big and make-believe is real. So what better time than now to photograph their biggest dreams,....becoming a mermaid.

What is even more special is that all of these crowns are hand made. Two of the crowns are made from their grandmother's shells that were collected at South Padre Island.

Sassy mermaids! This was an outtake of them just sitting around before I started posing them.

Kids just being kids,.....run, play, swim, get all sandy, run in the ocean,....REPEAT!
