It was so cold the day of our session. A front just blew in and ruined our plans for an outdoor shoot so we spent a few minutes at a time outdoors and then went inside for a few more. Instead of trying to get everyone to pose for the camera which can be quite challenging with young children we had them do what kids do best,...PLAY! So much more fun for everyone!
So once outside, I decided to follow the kids around with the camera and capture what they were doing. I love childhood and how small things interest kids. I kinda of get to experience their world through my lens.
The girls were great in front of the camera and they seemed very interested in what I was doing.
OH that curly hair and big blue eyes! So cute!
This guy was sneaky. He hid from me for awhile but I finally caught him. Haha!
Kids love climbing trees and it makes for a great "photo op."
This was a blast! Jumping on the bed is always a good time!
I can't believe my little girl is three years old already. When people tell me to enjoy each moment while their little because time flies, I sure do know what they mean now.

I've been photographing these boys for a while and they are always a pleasure to work with. Wow! little Chase has grown up! We had lots of fun throwing snow around and hiding candy in our mouths (little bribes!,.. wink*). It was so funny to me when I was putting the set together for this shoot. I got the snow out from my previous wonderland shoots and found skittles, goldfish and m&m's tucked in there. Oh, how I love childhood and the simple things that makes kids happy!
Happy Birthday sweet girl! I can't believe this little angel is 1 year old already. It feels like just yesterday I was taking her newborn photos. What a pleasure it's been document her first year.
Amelia was so cute when we set her on this furry rug. She would smile and then lean over to smell and touch the soft fur with her face.
She's not quite walking yet but she's trying.
Thanksgiving in Dallas was such a great picture taking opportunity. For a photographer, it was heaven. I loved all of the fall colors and watching the kids play in the leaves. It was great fun!
Our little wasn't to excited to take pictures. She was too eager to play in the leaves with the other kids.
I'm so happy for these two. They will be getting married soon!
This is one of my favorite shots from our trip. I'm not even sure what they were talking about but it happened so quick that I was lucky to get this shot. I guess I will always wonder what an almost 3 year old (and 4yr old boy) could be talking about. Too cute!
I love her eyes! She's gorgeous!
Those blue eyes and long eyelashes! This handsome little boy has a twin brother that I never seemed to catch on camera.
