Always seeking , Always chasing.......Shape it, modify it, paint with it.....LIGHT. The camera is a brush and light is paint.
We don't take pictures, we create art with light. That is the essence of a photographer.
Always a good time working with Rafael Sepulveda and Trish Clement Motheral making and creating art. We make a great team! Love you all! Special thanks to Fernanda for modeling.

This is what happens when two artists get together over a glass of wine. WE CREATE! Laura Mangelschots
I just love random acts of creativity. This shoot was totally unplanned and while we were chatting away we both looked at my home studio and thought lets make something. These are probably the best shoots. The last minute ones where you just grab props that you have laying around and start piecing things together. We definitely need to do these more often. Too fun!

Every now and then I like to get behind my own camera to practice new lighting set-ups or simply have a creative itch. Here are some recent images from my self portrait session.

Here is a behind the scenes image. When my little is away so I Play. Selfie time! 😂This is what I do when I’m bored. See the iPad on the stool, it’s tethered to the camera and I can control the settings and have instant feedback on the images so I can make real time adjustments.
I’m in love with having my studio back in my home. Everything I need is at my fingertips and I can shoot whenever I have a wild creative itch.

So I thought I would update my professional headshot. My sister said I that "I look like a power real estate mogul from NYC". I thought to myself, mission accomplished,....Done! But really, how about just professional photographer extraordinaire?!

Baby Chloe is here!

Baby Chloe is here and we are so excited!

Every session is unique to the family and is custom designed. So when we met to discuss color and styling, Mom wanted to use non-traditionalcolors for her baby girl, blues, mustard, mauve, sage and of course my fav, cream! I just love how outside the box the color scheme was for this session. So refreshing!

Just love this baby blue for a girl.

Baby as art! This one would look so artsy printed and displayed as a large gallery wrap canvas.

This image with the pink wreath was made for the baby shower by her mother-in-law.

Pets are family too!

Mom was really not feeling up for taking portraits but I was very persuasive. This moment is so fleeting, I wouldn't want for her to miss the opportunity to remember how tiny her baby was in her arms. In just one month, they will look so different.

Tiny baby bits.
