I absolutely loved photographing my daughters dance classmates. It was such a great way to remember how all of these adorable little girls looked at this time in their dance career. They are all great friends and I hope to watch them grow up together!
Here's my artsy take on one of Emery's dance portraits (other than the Black&White, which are my fav!)
When I spotted this lovely lady while shopping in a local children's boutique, I new then that I had to photograph her. She was radiant and I had to get her in front of my camera. So I said hey, I have some ideas I want to shoot, let's get together. We then got the brilliant idea to cover her in as many flowers as we could find, and yes, it was quite a challenge placing them just right. I'm loving the feminine and romantic feel of the soft colors, and to me, there's just something heavenly about flowers.
I'm not much of a writer. I prefer to tell stories with photographs but Ginna is fabulous at it. Hop on over to her blog http://fabmixmasterg.blogspot.com/2014/04/baby-natalia-villarrealcoming-soon.html to read about her journey through the pregnancy. She's an incredible story teller and has a keen eye for fashion.
This shoot wouldn't have been complete with this little princess and soon to be big sister.
This is just so sweet!
A few more shots from a beautiful evening in the grass field I found. I Loved the tiny flowers spread throughout. Emery just loved picking them and I had fun with macro lens documenting the tiny things that fascinate her. Yay! Spring is here!
I was out running errands the other day and I spotted this beautiful grass field and the light was hitting it just right to give this amazing golden glow. So I had to stop and get a few shots of my princess in her persnickety outfit. (Outfit is from Zoodles McAllen http://zoodlesmcallen.com)
