Welcome to the World Baby B

There's just something so special to me about having the privilege to photograph newborns. While I love and adore all the cute snuggled up poses they will fall asleep into, it's the family images that pull at my heart strings the most. Capturing the earliest memories of a new family member and all of the joy they bring to the people that love them most. Family is so important and so is remembering how we looked at this time in our lives. People change over time and so do families. They grow together and apart, some go to college, some will have new siblings, some will enter adulthood, some will grow old and some will pass-on. It's all so fleeting! So, to mom,......I hope you always remember when looking at your portraits how tiny your baby was in your arms. In 3 short months your baby will look so different. It's bittersweet isn't it? Watching them grow up and also wanting them to stay little in our arms.

That's why it is so dear to my heart to be able to document these moments for families. It is my hope that these portraits will remain heirlooms in their family that will be passed on to their children, passing the test of time, and remaining in their hearts forever.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your special memories!

Sister with her new baby brother. When I was photographing them together, I could just see her all her lit up with excitement and joy over her new sibling.

All nestled up. Too cute!

Mom's special request.....the American Flag.

Dad loves baseball and specifically the Yankees.

Skin to skin with baby is such a pure moment to capture.

Outtakes are the best aren’t they?! Oopsie, baby had an accident......straight down his pants. This Dad was a great sport for putting up with all of this. 😂

Innocence

There is just something about a child that gives me a stoic look when I’m photographing them. I think it makes me gaze into the innocence in their eyes. All the wonder they must have for the big life they have ahead of them. This image was taken just a few shots before all the laughing, goofy kid faces that were next which I love, but this one,.....this one got to me.

Welcome to the World baby A

This sweet baby boy was a dream to photograph. He is one of the easiest babies I've worked with. He slept so well the entire session and allowed me to pose him in any cute position that I wanted (baby A was photographed at 12 days old.) Plus he's such a lucky baby boy,.....you can just see the love his parents have for him in these portraits. He will one day look back on these images and see all the joy he brought to his family.

Goodnight, sleep tight.

So stinking cute when they smile while dreaming.

All the tiny details.

This last one is just for dad and he brought in this helmet for baby A to be photographed in. One day they will probably share the sport together.
