Do you want to have fun on family picture day. Here are a few quick tips:

First of all, find a location that's interesting so the kids don't get bored. For this session, we went to a state park in the Rio Grande valley.  There was a lot of wildlife, a lake, some nice trees and some very interesting stuff to look at.  (I promised a friend I wouldn't disclose this secret location but if you want to do a portrait session with me, I might let you in on the secret.) To beat the South Texas Heat, we made sure to have cool, comfortable clothing and an ice chest full of water.  And, don't forget the bug spray either! 

1) Find a great location.

2) Plan ahead; clothing/attire, bug spray, water, etc.... 

3) Pick the best time of day- Early morning or late afternoon when the light is nice. Make sure to be on time.

4) Be yourself- feel free to jump around, act silly, let loose.  Let's have fun!

5) Sit back, enjoy yourself, and let me do the rest of the work.
