To some you were just a dog but to me your were family. I will always miss you! I'm sure you're in heaven chasing all of the possums and lizards you can find.
The day before he left us. I took him outside. He couldn't walk well but I noticed 2 yellow butterflies fly right in front of me. At that moment, I knew it wouldn't be much longer. Butterflies have always been a symbol of change and metamorphosis to me. The next day, he got his wings.
(This is as close as I could get to what I think heaven looks like. It took me 2 days and 33 photoshop layers to create this piece but I really enjoyed creating it.) (Heaven)
