Meet 8 month old baby Kate! Isn't she gorgeous. If you haven't noticed already, I have an obsession with big beautiful blue eyes or really any baby eyes that glisten in the light. This was one of my favorite shoots! We did this session with Kate's friend Paige and I adore how the Mom's styled their babies and brought along vintage children's books, chairs, and quilts. Although, it was hot and we had to share our time with the mosquitos, the light was soft and golden at this time of day and the babies did wonderful.

This is Kate's friend Paige playing together will some flowers they found nearby.

Sweet baby Isaac was only 4 days old when we shot his newborn photos. Four days old is a great time to take newborn portraits! Babies this young stay curled up in the fetal position and that's how we get those cute cuddly poses.
